This is an interactive CD designed for a Windows based computer, but made in such a way so that you can put it in
a standalone music CD player. If you have a CD player in your car you can listen to the actual voice of
Jack Mitchell while your driving down the road.
If you are familiar with maneuvering through a website, you will enjoy this.
There are quite a few resolution historic old photos on the disk. These are great for zooming in for close up detail.
There are two videos to watch.
One being an interview with Alberta Bailey in 1998 on the porch of her parents house (now the Visitors Center).
She is the youngest daughter of Jack & Ida Mitchell. She was in her 80's at the time of filming.
She takes after her Father when it comes to talking.
Lots of good stories about life at the old Resort.
The other video uses much of the material on this CD plus 8mm footage shot at the Resort in 1947.
Very interesting to watch.
Both video files are VCD (Video CD) compliant. This means if you
have the right software (you probably do & don't know it)
you can burn a CD to play in your DVD player & watch the videos on you're TV.
Lots of good information.
